Welcome to the [info]quibbler_report, a recsletter (not to be confused with a newsletter) that specializes in reccing rare pairs and gen fics.

We define a rarepair as a pairing that is unusual, unconventional, or has a significant lack of fanfic or art dedicated to it. (We generally consider rare pairs to be anything not listed here):

Harry/Draco
Harry/Ginny
Remus/Sirius
Harry/Ron
Draco/Hermione
Severus/Harry
Ron/Hermione
Remus/Tonks
Severus/Hermione
Albus Severus/Scorpius
Harry/Draco/Severus


We review these pairings every six months or so and adjust the list if necessary. Generally, a pairing is deemed not "rare" if it has one or more active communities devoted to it, a newsletter already devoted to it, one or more fests devoted to it, etc. The following pairings we have deemed "rare-ish" and may be recc'ed at the editor's discretion:

Harry/Hermione
Draco/Ginny
Severus/Lily
Severus/Remus
Scorpius/Rose


...and we define gen as a work of fanfiction (or art) that does not have a romantic or sexual relationship as the focus. (This of course does not mean that relationships cannot be present in the story.)

Our editorial staff will scour Livejournal and Insanejournal daily to bring you the pairings and characters you crave, but don't often see. We will rec het, slash, femslash and gen, and strive to bring you fanfiction and art that we feel is underrepresented or under-exposed.
